This site explains in depth what CVS is trying to do with onsite clinics, however my personal opinion is nothing replaces a Doctor who goes to school for years and years and residencies could be good. These are for-profit sites and honestly those without insurance couldn't afford it with all the raising costs of everyday living. I personally would never visit one of these, I would go to the Doctor who I have a relationship with that knows my history. I think many things will be missed like this, many major conditions have under lying symptoms and while trained as RNs they are not Doctors.
